Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Julie Pastrick, was recently appointed as an ex-officio member of the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) Board of Directors. She serves in this capacity as Chairman of the Rural Business Development Advisory Council which advises the ACA Board on rural business development strategies, including job creation, diversifying economies and attracting new investment.
The ACA is guided by a 31-member Board of Directors, with Governor Jan Brewer serving as Chairman and Jerry Colangelo serving as Co-Chairman. The full Board consists of some of the most successful minds in both the public and private sectors, including the state’s Senate President and House Speaker, as well as Arizona’s three public university presidents. The Board represents an incredible collection of subject matter expertise and business and policy experience, all leveraged to advance the ACA’s mission to strengthen the states overall economy.
Through Julie’s leadership and service on the ACA Board of Directors, Northern Arizona will have a strong voice for rural Arizona’s economic needs and concerns as well as assistance bringing resources to our economic development work in Flagstaff. Please join me in congratulating Julie on this prestigious appointment.
