Motor Excellence, LLC., proudly announces the addition of Colonel Kevin Kilb, (Retired-USAF) to its leadership team. In his role with the company, Kilb serves as a business development officer responsible for building relationships with potential partners for the company’s remarkable motor technology. Kilb is leading ME’s business strategy for military applications.

Founded in 2007, the company designs a new class of high-efficiency, cost effective and low-environmental impact electric motors for use in a wide range of applications. The company’s electric motor technology offers advantages over traditional systems such as higher torque, operating efficiency, operational longevity and reduced weight. “Kevin brings a knowledge of what our potential military and heavy industrial customers are looking for in terms of products and relationships,” said Michael Manson, Motor Excellence co-founder and executive chairman. “We are honored to have Kevin on our team and look forward to benefiting from his expertise.” No stranger to Arizona, Kilb attended high school in Phoenix at Brophy College Prep, and graduated from the University of Arizona as a 2nd Lieutenant from the Air Force ROTC program. A command pilot, he attended pilot training at Williams Air Force Base in Chandler, and served in the USAF for over 22 years commanding at the squadron, group and wing level. In addition to his command experience, Kilb also served on the staffs of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Headquarters U.S. Air Force. He logged over 4,000 accident-free flying hours in airlift, refueling, and trainer aircraft. Most recently, he served as Commander, 62nd Airlift Wing, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, where he commanded and ensured the readiness of more than 2,300 active duty and civilian personnel, along with 42 permanently assigned C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to support global combat, nuclear and humanitarian airlift operations. He is a veteran of the first gulf war, as well as the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. |
