Coconino County District 2 Supervisor Liz Archuleta was named as the County Board of Supervisor’s next chairwoman during the Board’s regular meeting today.
Supervisor Archuleta said she was honored for yet another opportunity to represent the Board and county residents as chairwoman.
“Being voted by my colleagues to lead the Board of Supervisors is always a tremendous honor and privilege,” Supervisor Archuleta said. “I look forward to carrying out this solemn duty on behalf of the Board and the residents we represent.”
Supervisor Archuleta replaced former District 1 Supervisor Carl Taylor, who retired after serving on the Board for eight years. The Board also voted unanimously to name District 3 Supervisor Matt Ryan as vice-chairman.
Supervisors Archuleta and Ryan began their leadership roles today.
