What do Arizonans want? What has changed over the past three years? And where do we go from here? These three questions are the central themes up for discussion at The Arizona We Want 2.0: The Case for Action – a community conversation that will bring Arizonans of all ages and backgrounds together for a lively discussion on how we can achieve our goals for Arizona together.
Dr. Lattie Coor, Chairman and CEO of the Center for the Future of Arizona, is the keynote speaker for the event, hosted by the Flagstaff Forty business leadership group on May 29th from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at the High Country Conference Center.
“The rapid transformation of Arizona requires a fresh, bold restatement of who we are, and how we respond to the road ahead,” said Stephanie McKinney, Flagstaff Forty Board of Directors Chair. “We need representatives from every facet of our community involved in this discussion, especially our young citizens, who are not only the future of Arizona, but our present too.”
Joining Dr. Coor for the discussion is a panel of community leaders from Flagstaff including Dr. John Haeger, President of Northern Arizona University; Kevin Burke, Flagstaff City Manager; Julie Pastrick, Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce President & CEO; Chris Bavasi, ECONA Chairman of the Board; Kerry Blume, United Way of Northern Arizona President & CEO; John Sininger, retired W.L. Gore & Associates Leader; and Jay Lusk, Student Council President at BASIS Flagstaff.
Bob Millis, Flagstaff Forty Executive Director said, “community engagement is important to the process of developing our road map for the Arizona We Want and Flagstaff Forty is honored to have Dr. Lattie Coor as the keynote speaker of this important event.”
