Flagstaff’s newest charter, Basis School, plans to begin school August 17th. Kara Kelty, the Head of the Basis Flagstaff campus says she is enthusiastic about the school. “We have 515 enrolled with a few openings in certain grades,” she tells FBN.
Governor Jan Brewer, the Basis President and Board Chairman Craig Barrett, and Basis Founders Michael and Olga Block attended a ribbon cutting ceremony in Flagstaff yesterday.
Basis school is located at 1700 Gemini Dr., on McMillan Mesa in central Flagstaff.
