Flagstaff Bone and Joint, Loven Contracting, JP Morgan Chase and construction trade partners gathered for a beam-signing ceremony to celebrate the halfway mark of the new surgical center at 501 N. Switzer Canyon Dr.
The Oct. 17 event commemorated the construction milestone of the new 9,000-square-foot ambulatory surgical center. “Our investment in this project reinforces our commitment to transform the delivery of quality health care for our patients,” said Flagstaff Bone and Joint Senior Partner Darius Moezzi, M.D. “We strive every day to offer exceptional health care services to patients throughout Northern Arizona. The Surgery Center at Flagstaff Bone and Joint will offer orthopaedic outpatient surgery at accessible pricing. The partners of the ASC want to thank Loven Contracting and all the trade partners who are assisting us with the construction of the facility.”
“The ASC will improve orthopaedic surgical access and will provide new and valuable services at competitive pricing to the communities we serve,” said Flagstaff Bone and Joint CEO Joe DelGiorgio. “This facility is physician-owned and physician-operated, allowing our specialty-trained physicians and staff to meet the needs of our patients in a timely manner.”
The Surgery Center at Flagstaff Bone and Joint will have two operating rooms and one procedure room, and is expected to open next spring.
The practice’s nine doctors specialize in the ankle, elbow, foot, hand, hip, knee, shoulder, spine and wrist as well as joint replacement and revision, pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, sports medicine and trauma care. Flagstaff Bone and Joint offers orthopaedic care to Flagstaff, Kingman, Cottonwood and the surrounding areas. At the Flagstaff location, physicians also offer an orthopaedic urgent care that offers same-day appointments and walk-ins for injuries. FBN
