July 27. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of being in business, Brandy’s Restaurant will host festivities July 27th, including an art trunk sale, with artists selling materials. 9:00a.m.-1:00 p.m. 1500 E. Cedar Avenue.
A pancake-eating contest, yo-yo demos, face painting, balloon twisting, games and a community art show are just a taste of the festivities to be held inside and out.
“We are celebrating 20 years of customer support. Thanks for choosing to eat here!” says Brandy Wojciak, who along with husband Ed Wojciak opened Brandy’s in 1993.
KAFF radio is bringing its wind machine stuffed with cash and prizes to the party, and the station’s live remote will provide bite-by-bite pancake-eating contest reports. First prize for eating the most pancakes is a set of four box seats behind home plate at a Diamondback’s game. Other prizes include a Pepsi cooler and gift certificates. Contestants must be at least 18 years old and hungry. Registration proceeds go to the Flagstaff Family Food Center.
Enjoy “Thank You Flagstaff for 20 Delicious Years” specials at Brandy’s throughout July, including $2 BLTs on Tuesdays and $2 Reubens on Fridays. *
