Carl DeRosa, P.T., Ph.D., a physical therapist at DeRosa Physical Therapy, a division of The Summit Center, was invited to present in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at the Interdisciplinary World Congress on Low Back & Pelvic Pain.
Dr. DeRosa will speak to hundreds of specialists on Oct. 29, 2013, about the new paradigms of exercise for managing low-back conditions.
This World Congress is only held every three years. It brings together a myriad of low-back pain experts from different countries to share current worldwide research and innovations.
Also notably deserving, physical therapist Brian Schmitz, P.T., D.P.T., C.S.C.S., was invited to present his research at the American Association of Manual Physical Therapist’s national meeting on Oct. 19, 2013 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Brian’s research centered on analyzing how the performance of elite athletes at Northern Arizona University (NAU) improved when specific spine-mobility treatment was applied. His work with the Lumberjacks was the result of a strong, ongoing collaboration between DeRosa Physical Therapy and NAU Athletics.
