Jessie Atencio, Interim Director of ADOSH, Mike Loven Founder and President of Loven Contracting, ICA Commissioners Scott P. LeMarr and Steven Krenzel Flagstaff’s own Loven Contracting, a Northern Arizona construction services firm since 1985, was recognized today as a VPP Star in the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety & Health’s Voluntary Protection (VPP) program.
Presenting the award were ICA Commissioners Scott P. LeMarr and Steven Krenzel, as well as Jessie Atencio, Interim Director of ADOSH, in a ceremony at the Arizona State Capitol.

In practice, VPP sets performance-based criteria for a managed safety and health program, and then assesses applicants against these criteria. ADOSH’s verification includes rigorous onsite evaluation by a team of ADOSH safety experts. Loven Contracting is the only company in Flagstaff to achieve this high standard.
