Full Circle Trade and Thrift announced today that their 2016 grant cycle is officially open. The deadline for application is October 31, 2015, at 5 p.m. Application forms, instructions, requirements and restrictions are available on the website at www.fullcircletrade.net. Nearly all Flagstaff-based nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply.
From sales of gently used clothing and furniture, and from the proceeds of monthly auctions, Full Circle has awarded almost $300,000 to Flagstaff-area nonprofits since the store opened in January 2013, nearly $200,000 in the last 12 months alone.
Full Circle will also host a workshop on Thursday, October 8, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Coconino Health and Community Services Building, Ponderosa Room, 2625 N. King Street, Flagstaff. Previous grantees will make presentations on the application process and what is required of recipients during the month of the award, followed by a question-and-answer session. Although not mandatory, Full Circle encourages all prospective applicants to attend the workshop.
Tours of the store and facility at 2 South Beaver Street are also available by appointment for staff and board members who would like to become more familiar with Full Circle’s operation.
