The Greater Williams Community Fund invites local community organizations to apply for 2014 grant funding. The application form will be available beginning Tuesday, March 4, and applications must be submitted by Friday, April 4, 2014.
To assist prospective applicants, an information session outlining the online organizational profile and grant application process will be held on Thursday, January 23, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Walker Hall at St. John’s Episcopal-Lutheran Church, located at the corner of 2nd Street and Grant Avenue in Williams. Refreshments will be provided. During the workshop, attendees will learn about the process and receive helpful advice on completing their applications. Attendance is recommended, but not required, and attendance does not guarantee grant funding.
The Greater Williams Community Fund expects to award a total of $7,500 in grants this year. Any organization with nonprofit 501(c)(3) status serving the greater Williams community is eligible to apply. Grant funding is made possible from the investment earnings of the Fund, a permanent endowment created to support a variety of community issues in and around Williams, including youth, education, social services, healthcare, senior services and the arts.
