HUALAPAI RIVER RUNNERS TO RELAUNCH GRAND CANYON WHITEWATER RAFTING TOURS

May 30, 2020 By FBN Leave a Comment

Grand Canyon Resort Corporation announced they will be welcoming back guests to experience whitewater rafting on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon beginning on June 8, 2020. Also launching are exciting new whitewater rafting equipment and boat rental options. Grand Canyon Resort Corporation announced earlier this month that Grand Canyon West would be reopening on June 1st with a rigorous health and safety plan.

Hualapai River Runner’s one, two, and four day whitewater rafting tours are now available to book online at HualapaiRiverRunners.com for dates June 8 and beyond. In addition to exciting rapids, hiking at Travertine Cavern Falls, local wildlife viewing, meals along the banks of the river, and the option to take an exciting helicopter ride from the river up to Grand Canyon West, whitewater rafting guests will learn about the Hualapai Tribe and their connection to the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River. Also relaunching on June 8th is the Smooth Float River tour that launches from Grand Canyon West and concludes 17 miles downriver at Pierce Ferry road.

Hualapai River Runners is thrilled to launch a brand-new Five-Day Whitewater Paddle Rafting Trip. On this tour, guests will experience the excitement of the Colorado River’s rapids and the serenity and beauty of the Canyon. This tour covers 54 miles of the Colorado river over 5 days. Guests will camp and enjoy their meals on the sandy beaches they will discover along the Colorado River. Camping equipment and food is provided as part of this tour. After the sun sets guests would be hard pressed to find a better place to see the stars in the United States.

The company is excited to launch their never before offered rental options on June 8, as well. Guests can now rent packages such as 6, 8, or 9-person raft rentals that include all rafting equipment, tents, and personal safety devices. If guests are looking for a larger boat, a 24-person motorized boat is available for rental as well with tents, gear, and personal safety devises.

Hualapai River Runners have put new health and safety standards in place to provide the safest environment possible for both their team members and guests. New procedures include temperature checks for guests and river guides and social distancing on boats. Options for helicopter lists or bus transportation is also available for an additional cost.
