Fort Tuthill’s Military Museum is open again for its eight season. A flag raising ceremony was held over the weekend with a display of weapons y C Company First Battalion 158th Infantry. Army ROTC Cadets from Northern Arizona University were on hand along with the Coconino High School Junior ROTC Battalion.
The museum offers individuals and families a wealth of information on the military history of Arizona’s 158th Infantry Regiment, including Fort Tuthill’s role as the training site for the regiment prior to and after World War II. The museum traces the 140 year history of the Arizona National Guard Unit.
