Flagstaff’s Mother Road Brewery is being recognized by the Arizona Small Business Development Center Network (AZSBDC) at the upcoming 2013 Success Awards Legislative Lunch, March 18.
The brewery is one of 14 Arizona small businesses being honored, and the only business from Flagstaff.
The event is hosted by the Arizona Small Business Development Center Network (AZSBDC) and scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to1:30 p.m. on the House Lawn of the Arizona State Capitol Complex, 1700 W. Washington Street in Phoenix. Arizona Capitol Times publisher Ginger Lamb will serve as emcee of the event, which is expected to attract more than 300 guests, including members of the Arizona Legislature and government, business and community leaders from across the state.

The AZSBDC Network (www.azsbdc.net ) is Arizona’s largest and most accessible source of assistance for small business, with 26 locations across Arizona, including 10 Service Centers and 16 satellites and/or meeting sites. The Network is also the host of the Arizona Procurement Technical Assistance Center (AZPTAC) network (www.azptac.com ), which is headquartered in Glendale and has satellite locations in Mesa, Phoenix, Sierra Vista, Tucson and Yuma.
During 2012, the AZSBDC Network counseled 3,177 clients and helped create or retain 1,471 jobs. AZSBDC small business clients started 352 new businesses last year, increased their sales by more than $54.2 million and developed more than $38.6 million in new capital.
