Thornton, who has more than eight years of experience in health care, wants to inspire people to achieve their optimal health. His goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive care that promotes long-term wellness and enhances quality of life for each patient.
Thornton earned his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and his undergraduate degree in science from the University of Victoria in British Columbia. He completed four years of general surgery residency at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center (now Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center) in Livingston, New Jersey and at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. He also completed a residency in family medicine at AdventHealth in Winter Park, Florida. He is board-certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. FBN
