Celebrating its 75th diamond anniversary, Arizona Snowbowl is glistening at its peak and gaining altitude! As one of the country’s longest running ski resorts, Snowbowl is ready to celebrate winter in a big way during this monumental birthday year with discounted pre-season passes, special events including old-fashioned winter sports, contests, alumni gatherings, torchlight parades, a Winter Whiteout Gala and the first season with snowmaking!
“Even though it’s still officially summer, we will start to celebrate winter beginning Saturday, Sept. 1, as discounted pre-season passes go on sale online, saving skiers and snowboarders hundreds of dollars,” said General Manager J. R. Murray.
Season passes are on sale at the Drury Inn from Oct. 10-14. Unlimited season passes come with two free weekday, non-holiday buddy passes. Pre-season pass rates will be available through Oct. 17.
“Arizona Snowbowl has come a long way since its early days at Scissorbill Park in the early 1900s. As we celebrate our 75th year, we’ll have more fun activities and specials than ever before. El Nino is forecast, predicting above average snowfall for Northern Arizona, plus we’ll have snowmaking that will ensure good snow coverage between storms. You won’t want to miss out!” said Marketing Director Dave Smith. FBN
