The U.S. Supreme Court today upheld Arizona's law that revokes the business licenses of businesses and corporations hiring illegal immigrants. The 5-3 vote was a rejection of challenges to the law by a coalition of business people and civil rights organizations. Arizona Snowbowl has won yet another legal battle, although the Save the Peaks Coalition is promising to appeal today's decision. Judge Mary H. Murguia ruled against the plaintiffs, who were claiming the final environmental impact statement by the U.S. Forest Service ignored health issues.
