Trade Show Event Marketing

September 27, 2013 By techsuperadmin

Oct. 17th.  11:30-1:00 at NACET.

Companies who exhibit at B2B trade shows and expos have always faced a vexing question…where’s the ROI? Most exhibitors erect a trade show booth at great expense, fly in their top sales and marketing staff, pay for all of their expenses, collect business cards or scan badges and hope sales reps follow up with trade show leads gathered after the expo. But what happens to all the prospects that don’t happen to stop by your booth? How do you target those individuals and generate pipeline and revenue opportunity from your trade show presence?

The answer is Trade Show Marketing 3.0…A completely new approach to trade show marketing. Here is what you’ll learn in this event:

1.Why an over-arching theme is critical to successful trade show activities

2.How to pro-actively target hot prospects before the show

3.Why off-site activities are vital to success

4.How to make sure the leads you gather don’t end up in a black hole

5.What pre- and post-show activities will ensure you close business resulting from your trade show presence

6.Where you need to be to reach your most valuable prospects

During this interactive presentation, we will explore the traditional way that trade shows have always been done, the updated ‘2.0’ practices that the best-in-class companies are participating in, and the latest-and-greatest trade show marketing 3.0 model that ensures that you meet with the most valuable prospects during your trade show involvement.

Thursday, October 17th
11:30am – 1:00pm
NACET Conference Room

About Your Instructor:
Jared Bodnar is a dynamic and driven entrepreneur with an extensive background in business-to-business (B2B) sales and marketing. As President of Loop Demand Gen, Jared is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations, including overall leadership, new business development, demand generation program management, strategic planning, financial management, client relations and more. Prior to starting Loop Demand Gen, Jared served as Vice President with Canyon Communications, a B2B integrated marketing communications agency based in Mesa, Arizona. Jared fulfilled several key roles in helping Canyon grow and succeed throughout his 11-year tenure at that organization. While growing Canyon, Jared noticed a significant disconnect between marketing and sales with current clients, and started Loop Demand Gen along with his business partners to solve those challenges. Now Canyon and Loop operate separately, and Loop is solely dedicated to building pipeline and results-based sales support programs for B2B organizations worldwide.

Throughout his career, Jared has worked in a wide range of B2B industries, including technology, mining, agriculture/lawn care, construction, professional services, security and health care. Through both direct and channel marketing, Jared has supported such well-known B2B brands as The Toro Company, Atlas Copco, Oracle, NetApp, Riverbed, Microsoft, VMware, EMC and Symantec.
