Traffic Impacted by NAU Graduation Ceremonies

NAU- grad -diplomaNorthern Arizona University is holding five commencement ceremonies today and tomorrow.  Traffic and parking is expected to be impacted in the greater Flagstaff region.

Traffic will be heaviest at these times:   Friday, May 9 – Noon to 3 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 10   8 to 11 a.m., 12-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m.

Families and friends will fill Northern Arizona University’s Skydome to celebrate the accomplishments of nearly 5,000 students during spring commencement. NAU has scheduled five ceremonies Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, at the Walkup Skydome and one in Yuma on Friday, May 16.

As part of the observances, five individuals will be awarded honorary degrees for their continued support of Northern Arizona University and Arizona education.
