Local First Arizona, the Flagstaff Independent Business Alliance and Friends of Flagstaff’s Future and local, independent Flagstaff businesses are working in partnership on a special promotion this spring. The public is invited to participate in a local business Easter Egg Hunt in Flagstaff during the week leading up to Easter. It is the partners’ goals include increasing exposure to and revenue in the locally-owned business community. This is the inaugural “Shop Indie EGGstravaganza” campaign and participating local businesses are members of Local First Arizona and Flagstaff Independent Business Alliance.
Shop Indie EGGstravaganza is a fun event for the whole family. Plastic Easter eggs will be hidden throughout downtown Flagstaff during the week leading up to Easter, from April 12th through April 18th, and at the Earth Day festivities at City Hall on April 19th. The public will have the chance to find the eggs throughout the week, which will be hidden in participating stores and around downtown in outside locations. Each egg will contain a gift certificate to an independent, locally owned shop with a flier explaining the importance and benefits of supporting local Flagstaff businesses.
