The Arizona Board of Regents will wrap up a two-day meeting in Flagstaff this afternoon. After yesterday’s meeting, one of the regents told FBN, the governing body is continuing to support the community as an economic driver for the region. He also talked about the Health and Learning Center with construction wrapping up this summer. The project has created about 3500 jobs and employed numerous local contractors, along with firms from outside the city.
At yesterday’s meeting, the board approved construction of another parking garage on the campus of Northern Arizona University. The approximately $30 million dollar project will be built near the site of the current Fronske Health Center on San Francisco Street.
