Several activities and a parade are planned for Armed Forces Day on May 21. Festivi- ties include a pancake breakfast at the American Legion Post 3 (204 W. Birch) from 6:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
The Flagstaff “Armed Forces Day Parade” an official event of the Arizona Centennial, will begin at 10:00 a.m. in historic downtown Flagstaff. It will be an exciting event honoring the legacy of Arizona’s military heritage, our distinguished veterans, remembering our fallen heroes and welcoming our troops home.
Businesses are encouraged to display patriotism and to celebrate Arizona’s Centennial.

Following the parade, people are invited to the Ft. Tuthill Military Exhibition at Fort Tuthill County Park. There will be displays and presentations of vintage weapons, vehicles and military films and act newsreels. The Arizona Collectibles and Firearms Gun Show will also be a part of the event.
