The 64th Annual Coconino County Fair is fast approaching and the County Parks and Recreation Department has booked an array of music, food and family friendly activities fit for everyone.
The Fair runs Aug. 30 to Sept. 2 at Fort Tuthill County Park at 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop off of Interstate 17 south of Flagstaff. While at the Fair, visitors will enjoy Latino music legend Al Hurricane, the English new-wave band A Flock of Seagulls, southern rock notables Atlanta Rhythm Section, and American-country blues Reverend Peyton’s Big Band as each headline the Labor Day weekend entertainment.
Beginning Aug. 5, discounted all-day unlimited ride carnival tickets will be available for $20 while supplies last. The on-site price is $30. Tickets may be purchased from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Coconino County Parks and Recreation Office or call 928-679-8000 to purchase tickets by phone with a credit card (processing fees do apply).
“We invite everyone to come celebrate this all-American tradition,” said Parks and Recreation Director Judy Weiss. “With live music, great food and many of our talented residents showcasing their best recipes, artwork, crafts and livestock, this event will truly be one to remember.”
