The 2nd annual Hearts 911 Run to support Arizona’s First Responders is this weekend. In the wake of our recent fire tragedy, as we mourn 19 of our States own firefighters, organizers are requesting support for these hard working men and women who put their lives on the line every day they arrive at work.
Even at times when our first reponders are not in direct danger in the line of duty, they are at a constant risk of suffering a heart attack due to the pressure they face each day. It has been reported that Police Officers, Firefighters, Hot Shots, Medics and other First Responders are 300 times more likely to suffer a heart attack than any other working profession.
Contributions from this run as well as donations towards the Shadows Foundation “Hearts Worth Saving” Program is a direct call to action, offering our local first responders additional heart screening and medical attention prior to a heart related emergency. Join the cause today. Their ” Hearts are Worth Saving” !!
Run, Volunteer, Donate, and Enjoy this years after party and horse shoe tournament on July 13th at the Museum Club.
