Red Lobster is proud to announce the promotion of Alejandro Chavira to General Manager of the restaurant’s Flagstaff location. A Red Lobster veteran of seven years, Chavira started his career with Red Lobster as a manager-in-training and most recently held the position of Staffing and Training Manager at the Flagstaff location. In his new role, he oversees all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, including managing more than 60 team members.
This promotion is the result of Chavira’s ability to consistently exceed guest expectations. He emphasizes the importance of teamwork and has helped train and develop more than 50 team members throughout his career with Red Lobster, several of whom went onto management positions within the company.
“Alejandro is a natural leader who thrives on serving others and achieving high standards,” said Scott Teel, Director of Operations for Red Lobster. “He is loyal to his team and his guests – ensuring that every team member gets the help they need to make their workday a success, and that guests are treated with courtesy and respect.”
Chavira encourages his team to go above and beyond for their guests on a daily basis by always providing kind, exceptional service. His goal is to make Red Lobster a place where guests can enjoy a positive dining experience with family and friends.
“I am looking forward to serving the Flagstaff community as a General Manager,” said Chavira. “I believe that if you take care of your people – be it team members or guests – they will take care of you. I am fortunate to work with a great team and to have wonderful guests.”
Chavira and his team also support the local community through various initiatives, including a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Additionally, his team participates in the Darden Harvest program, where surplus, wholesome food is donated to the Flagstaff Family Food Center on a weekly basis.
