“Like many Arizonans, this weekend I will celebrate with my family and friends one of the most sacred, joyous and important holidays of the Christian faith.
“Easter provides us an opportunity to share in all the miracles of life, and in the blessings we hold dearest, regardless of religion. Let us reflect on and rejoice in the universal gifts of love, peace, sacrifice, faith, and hope.
“I also ask that we keep in our thoughts and prayers our brave men and women in uniform, and especially those who are apart from their families. Let us continue to offer our thanks and appreciation for their selfless service, for which we are so grateful.
