McDonald’s Helps Local School

September 24, 2013 By techsuperadmin

McDonaldsFlagstaff McDonald’s employees extended a helping hand to Kinsey Elementary School.  McDonald’s crew and managers stepped out from behind their counters from 8 a.m. till noon to help improve the school.  The restaurant team cleaned up the school garden and playgrounds for the project.

In support of their company-wide children’s education and well-being initiatives, local McDonald’s restaurants worked with more than 50 school districts and 50 schools in Arizona. More than 500 crew and managers contributed 2000 hours to help with school improvement projects statewide.

These events were an opportunity for McDonald’s to give back in ways that reach beyond their food and restaurant services. The service event complements “National People Week,” a national McDonald’s campaign that celebrates employees for their valued contributions to the company.
