Alliance Bank of Arizona, the state’s largest locally-owned and headquartered bank, is announcing the grand opening of its new Flagstaff banking center at 501 E. Butler Avenue in Aspen Place at The Sawmill. The finished building was designed by one of the state’s leading firms, DAVIS Architects, with the support of local engineering firm Peak Engineering, and local contracting firm, Loven Contracting, and their subcontractors. As Flagstaff’s premier business bank, the new facility marks eight consecutive years of growth.
The office opening will be commemorated with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, August 7 at 4:30 p.m., followed by a reception. Among the dignitaries expected to attend will be Flagstaff Mayor Jerry Nabours, President and CEO of the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Julie Pastrick, along with Alliance Bank’s CEO, Jim Lundy, President Ed Zito and Executive Vice President Sherri Slayton.
“As a local resident and banker in the Flagstaff community, I am especially proud of what our expansion symbolizes. Our new office is a reflection of our commitment to area business and the trust we have earned from them, as a partner in their success,” said Sherri Slayton. “We’re growing because Flagstaff business is growing.”
Alliance Bank’s new Flagstaff office is indicative of the bank’s investment in the area. A leading business lender, Alliance has built a reputation for its responsiveness, local expertise, and reliability as a lending resource—a reputation built on the local roots of its senior bankers. Vested in helping local companies expand and create jobs, the bank has lent more than $1.4 billion Statewide since 2009.
“From underwriting financial literacy programs at both Flagstaff high schools to the Alliance Bank Business Outreach Center at W.A. Franke College of Business, our support of education, the nonprofit community and local economic development is unwavering,” said James Lundy, CEO, Alliance Bank of Arizona. “Our newly built facility underscores our commitment and furthers our investment in Flagstaff.”
