New Frontiers Natural Marketplaces’ annual Festival
of Chocolate is the well respected store’s valentine to the
Flagstaff community.
This year’s free Festival is Saturday, February 8, 1-4pm and
is the only free Chocolate Festival of its kind anywhere in the
country. With an amazing abundance of delicious free chocolate,
customers can enjoy trying hot chocolate, chocolate bars, candies,
sauces, ice cream and a sumptuous chocolate fountain.
In addition to sampling chocolate in all its glory, attendees can
also enter to win fabulous chocolate treats and browse a selection
of gourmet chocolates and gifts for Valentines’ Day giving.
The Festival of Chocolate tradition started in 2004 with “A
Chocolate Love- In” at the Flagstaff, Prescott and Sedona
stores in the small natural food store chain and has continued
in all five stores every year since.
New Frontiers Natural Marketplace began business in Flagstaff
in 1988 in the present location of Crystal Magic. They moved to
Milton Rd. the year after that, and to the present location
at Butler and Sawmill in 2008 where they continue to serve their
mission of “inspiring personal growth and positive change,” and
“improving the quality of life in our community and our world.”
New Frontiers has been recognized for its produce and meat
departments for the past 5 years in the Arizona Daily Suns’
“Best of Flag” promotion.
As a vital part of the Flagstaff community, on the third Wednesday
of each month New Frontiers donates 5% of that days’ income to a
local not-for-profit organization which supports basic human needs like
food, shelter and clothing.
New Frontier also offers three senior discount days, Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturdays, giving 10% off to those 65 and over who request it.
Join your friends and community at New Frontiers Natural Marketplace,
Saturday, February 8, 1-4pm for all the chocolate you care to eat and
have a Happy Valentines’ Day!
