The Gallery in Williams, an artist cooperative, is open for business. The Gallery is located at 309 West Route 66 in Williams next to the Sultana Theater. The
co-op features local artists and their wide range of mediums. The artists themselves operate the Gallery, assist customers and perform assorted duties in the day-to-day functions required to operate the gallery.
The Grand Opening for the Gallery will take place Saturday, October 1st. There will be artists demonstrations throughout the day on Saturday including Eddie Parker’s Spray Can Performance. Eddie’s art is titled Aerosol Graphia. Many other artists will be featured and will be conducting demos during the day and evening. The artists at the gallery will also be displaying and selling their creations. Some of the art featured include, jewelry, fibers, stained glass, watercolor art, pottery, oil painting, bronze sculpture, photography, quilting, graphite drawing, woodwork, scratchboard art and metal sculpture.
Music at the Grand Opening will be provided by Kerry-Lynn from 6 to 9 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Attendees will have an opportunity to win one of several door prizes offered throughout the evening.
Festivities begin at 11 am on Saturday and continue until 9 pm. Please plan on attending the Gallery’s Grand Opening and help support our local artists in their endeavor to provide a fun and
