The deadline for Coconino County residents to register to vote for the Nov. 6 General Election is Tuesday, Oct. 9.
To register, an individual must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old by Election Day, reside within the County and have no felony convictions, unless civil rights have been restored.
Registrations forms are available at the Elections Office at 110 E. Cherry Avenue in Flagstaff and area city offices, post offices, Tuba City Elections Office, reservation chapter houses and libraries. Citizens may also register to vote by visiting www.coconino.az.gov/elections and clicking “Register to Vote Online.” From there, potential voters can complete the registration form, which will automatically be submitted to the Elections Office through Service Arizona. Another option is to go directly to www.servicearizona.com and click on “Voter Registration.” This is the same service provider that offers online vehicle registration.
Registration forms may also be downloaded via the County Elections Web site at www.coconino.az.gov/elections, by clicking on “Print a Voter Registration Form.” The completed form may be returned to the Elections Office.
Registered voters who have moved, changed their name or wish to change their political party affiliation must reregister. Signed registration forms must be dated no later than Tuesday, Oct. 9 and be received in the Elections Office by Friday Oct. 12.
