Wells Fargo is honoring Arizona’s Teacher of the Year on its ATMs across the state. From now until January 3, 2012 most of Wells Fargo’s 548 ATMs in Arizona will feature a screen congratulating 2011 Teacher of the Year Amanda McAdams. Wells Fargo’s ATM users also can learn more about McAdams teaching achievements by simply pressing a button on the screen.
“At Wells Fargo, we believe it’s important to celebrate great teachers who encourage, support and inspire great results from the students they teach in our community” said Pam Conboy, Arizona regional president. “We congratulate Amanda McAdams and thank all of our teachers for their service. Our entire community benefits from their work, and we want to show our appreciation by honoring one of Arizona’s best.”
An estimated 600 thousand people will view the ATM screen honoring McAdams.
McAdams teaches English and Student Government at Apollo High School in the Glendale Union High School District. Her husband, Don, also teaches at Apollo High School. McAdams earned abachelor’s degree in English from Claremont McKenna College, a Juris Doctorate from J. Rueben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University, and a teaching certificate from Utah State University. She is a member of National Education Association, Arizona Education Association, and the Utah State Bar
