County Closing Intersections in Schultz Flood Area

July 11, 2011 By techsuperadmin Leave a Comment

Due to heavy flooding in the Schultz Flood area, Coconino County has closed two road intersections in the Timberline neighborhood.  While the majority of roads in the Timberline neighborhood remain open and passable, Valley Drive and Crestview Driveintersections at Campbell Avenue will be closed to allow for crews to excavate and construct box culverts in the area.

The Coconino County Public Works department expects the reopening of Valley Drive on Monday, July 11, 2011, whileCrestview Drive may be closed until Wednesday, July 13, 2011.  The installation of box culverts is expected to help alleviate future damage in the area.

Citizens who live on these roads can access their properties through Glodia and Campbell, Alice and Campbell or from the north via Copeland Avenue.

For any questions, please contact the Schultz Flood hotline at (928) 679-8390.
