May 15 6-8:30 p.m. Flagstaff Medical Center’s Childbirth Education Department, in partnership with North Country HealthCare and Flagstaff Exchange Club are offering a free American Heart Association Family and Friends Infant CPR and Safety Class.
The free class is offered at the North Country HealthCare Learning Center, 2920 N. 4th St., Flagstaff.
The program is a two-and-a-half-hour safety course designed for parents, family, friends and caregivers of infants from newborn to 12 months of age. Participants will learn to respond to crisis situations, deliver CPR and relieve choking until professional help arrives. Topics also include injury prevention, environmental emergencies, home safety and car seat education. Participants will receive two American Heart Association books. This is a non-certification course.
