Suzanne Duval has been appointed as Mountain Heart Health Services practice administrator. With more than 20 years of healthcare management experience including finance, staffing, operations and strategic planning, she is scheduled to begin her new role in December.
Mountain Heart CEO and Managing Partner Michael Zervas is stepping down from day-to-day operations to focus on family obligations and non-profit work.
“I am humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of the Mountain Heart Health Services organization,” said Zervas, who has been the CEO since the company’s inception in 2008.
“I have been continually impressed by the dedication and commitment to excellence the Mountain Heart team has shown over the past eight years. I am confident that under the direction of Mrs. Duval, Mountain Heart will continue to be a strong force in the healthcare industry regionally, and will continue to provide patient focused care throughout Northern Arizona,” he said.
Zervas will remain as an advisor to the Mountain Heart leadership team on as needed basis.
“We are pleased that Suzanne has returned to the Mountain Heart team,” said Medical Director Dr. Kent Winkler. “We are proud of the team’s accomplishments and we wish Michael the best in the next phase of his career.”
Mountain Heart has grown to become the largest cardiovascular care center and accredited sleep facility in Northern Arizona.
