While Arizona Snowbowl north of Flagstaff is reporting between 33-48 new inches of the white stuff with more expected this weekend, the Flagstaff Nordic Center has also received plenty of snow. The Nordic Center’s Tim Allen tells FBN they have enough snow to keep skiing at the resort viable through the end of March at least.
In other Nordic Center News: the Arizona Cup Ski Race Series is scheduled for February 27th and March 6th. Come out and enjoy a day of fun and fitness. 5K distance is great for even the first time skier while the 15K will give anyone a great challenge. The Nordic Nook ski shop is also open this holiday weekend inside the Kickstand Cafe, 719 N. Humphreys Street. Packages with skis, boots and poles are offered for the entire weekend to take advantage of the fresh snow.
