“To be selected for this co-op in Northern Arizona is a real honor because we know how thoroughly they reviewed each bid,” said Jordan Bastian at Icon Power. “We are eager to help more people go solar by providing quality panels at a good price and great customer service.”
Solar United Neighbors expands access to solar by educating Northern Arizona residents about the benefits of distributed solar energy, helping them organize group solar installations, and strengthening Arizona’s solar policies and its community of solar supporters.
“As one of 17 co-op members that evaluated the various solar bids, I was very impressed with the thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and critical thinking displayed by all the participating members, and the guidance provided by Solar United,” said co-op member Bob Pifke. “Through careful deliberations, we reached a consensus that Icon was the best supplier for our needs.”
The solar co-op is free to join and joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels. Icon Power will provide each co-op member with an individualized proposal based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, members can save on the cost of going solar and have the support of fellow group members and solar experts at Solar United Neighbors.
The co-op is open to new members until July 31. Flagstaff, Sedona, and Coconino County residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at solarunitedneighbors.org/naz2022.
