New Entry Brings Public Art, Inclusive Design to Main Library
The Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library is moving forward with a new entry plaza design that will bring the downtown library entrance into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project will also feature a new community “front porch,” gently sloping sidewalks based on inclusive design principles, new landscaping and planted trees, and public art elements.
