Twin Arrows Casino Nearing Completion
The $175 million Twin Arrows, Casino Resort near Flagstaff is nearing completion. “Everything is on schedule to open late spring or early summer 2013,” said Raymond Etcitty, general counsel and acting COO of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise. Now, he says, it is just a matter of hiring and training the estimated 800 employees it will take to run it. Construction crews are making progress on the Twin Arrows Navajo Casino north of Interstate 40 between Flagstaff and Winslow. Construction on the Twin Arrows Resort and Casino 20 miles east of Flagstaff is officially underway. Flagstaff Business News attended the groundbreaking and learned predictions for Flagstaff's annual economic impact from the resort casino will be $300,000 annually.
