Waterline Road to Remain Closed to Public Access

 With the recent completion of the pipeline and Waterline Road project, members of the public have been asking whether Waterline Road will reopen. For safety reasons, Waterline Road will remain closed to all public access until at least the spring of 2013.   Much of the forest surrounding Waterline Road, including the Kachina Peaks Wilderness uphill of the road, was severely damaged by the 2010 Schultz Fire. CCC Celebrating 20 Years

Officials and community members helped kick off today's year long celebration of CCC, and its many roles in Northern Arizona.  A ceremony held on the Lone Tree campus today, celebrated the college's many accomplishments, and speakers talked about the future of the institution. ADOT’s Northern Arizona News

Interstate 17 Drivers may experience delays near Munds Park for the next couple of weeks, as ADOT crews reconstruct bridges and ramps in that area 20 miles south of Flagstaff.  The project includes new pavement and enhanced pedestrian access for Munds Park.  I-17 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for the next two weeks, except for weekends when work will cease.
