As Northern Arizona awaits the first significant snowstorm of the season, Coconino County Public Works crews are prepared to keep major roads clear and passable. Thunder and lightening have accompanied the start of the region's winter storm. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning in effect until 8:00 p.m. Sunday. There is a chance for between 10 and 24 inches of snow in the greater Flagstaff area.
