The Flagstaff Fire Department’s Wildland Fire Management Division plans to conduct a 40 acre prescribed broadcast burn tomorrow at the US Naval Observatory located approximately 5 miles west of downtown Flagstaff (T21N, R6E, Sec. 22). Even though Arizona's weather is still dry and springlike, state officials want Arizonans to prepare for the upcoming severe afternoon thunderstorms which can produce dangerous lightening, high winds and flash flooding.
