Art Babbott Wins BOS Democratic Bid

Former Flagstaff City Councilman Art Babbott is one step closer to becoming a Coconino County Supervisor. Babbott faced two democratic opponents in the race for the District One ballot spot.  With 2098 votes cast in District One, which includes Flagstaff's Downtown, Babbott earned 65% of the vote.  Challenger Diane Lenz earned 25% and Lina Wallen 10%. Winslow Chef Wins Another Accolade

John Sharpe, of The Turquoise Room at Winslow's La Posada Hotel and Gardens, has made the semifinalists' list of Best Chef's released by the James Beard Foundation. AZ Snowbowl Wins Another National Safety Award

The National Ski Area Association (NSAA) announced that the Arizona Snowbowl has won the prestigious "Best Overall Safety Award" for ski areas across the nation with less than 250,000 skier visits.
