Softened, Sobered, Shaped by Red Rocks

March 7, 2018 By FBN

As time and erosion have shaped and smoothed sandstone slabs and towering monuments of Sedona, the Red Rocks are also proving to be a human rock tumbler of sorts, wearing away rough, abrasive exteriors and revealing hidden beauty beneath. Such is the case of David, a smart, likeable 20-year-old blond from Louisville, Kentucky. “I started selling cocaine and Xanax when I was 16 and I actually really started selling it before I used it. I always had cocaine in front of me, so I would test it … [Read more...] about Softened, Sobered, Shaped by Red Rocks

It's easy to understand Myra DeGersdorff's enthusiasm about upgrades at Enchantment Resort and Spa. As general manager of the property, nestled among Sedona's breathtaking red rocks, $25 million can go a long way in creating magnificence. Business Owners Living to Hike the Red Rocks

March 22, 2011 By Patty McCormac

Greg and Gracie Stevenson caught a bad case of Red Rock Fever. Avid hikers, they had been exposed to the fever for about 12 years while visiting his folks who live in Sedona. Once on the way to Phoenix to catch a flight home to Texas, they began to wonder. “Why can’t we live somewhere beautiful like Sedona?” he said. “Over the next couple of weeks, we started filling legal pads with ideas about what we could do to sustain our family.” They decided that since the whole family enjoyed … [Read more...] about Business Owners Living to Hike the Red Rocks

May 23, 2010 By Patty McCormac

The second thing is probably the spiritual and metaphysical side to this pretty little city of a just over 10,000. Sedona, by some, is considered the psychic capital of the world and sup- ports many new age businesses – from astrologers, to aura readers, to intuitives, to guided tours of the famous vortexes that are believed to enhance the powers of prayer, healing and meditation In fact, there are no … [Read more...] about Sedona’s New Age Businesses Form Cornerstone
