Snowbowl Installing New Quad Chairlift
Arizona Snowbowl, in partnership with the Forest Service, plans to install and realign the Aspen chairlift this summer and fall, and have it operating by ski season. The bottom terminal will be moved 190 degrees north of its current location, to improve the overall skiing experience. The new chairlift will service new lower intermediate and beginner ski terrain all within Snowbowl’s current Special Use Permit. Arizona Snowbowl is providing a new shuttle bus option and carpool program to encourage skiers and snowboarders to share rides, reduce carbon emissions, decrease traffic and save money. This winter season, incentives are being given to all who ride the shuttle from Flagstaff to Snowbowl or carpool on designated days.
