Library visitors will now have even more time to study, seek a librarian’s guidance, use computers and print, access the library’s Wi-Fi, check out books, look for movies and music and much more! City Building New Water Tank in West Flagstaff
The City of Flagstaff is currently preparing to build a new water tank at the Railroad Springs tank site this summer. The tank will be an addition to the existing one, as a requirement for the Presidio in the Pines development on the west side of town. Homeowners are being careful with how they spend their money. Like the rest of the country, Flagstaff has been hit hard by the economic down- turn. Single family home permits dropped from 217 in 2006 to 17 in 2009. Permits for remodeling have remained relatively stable, dropping from 202 permits in 2002 to 138 permits in 2009.
