City Building New Water Tank in West Flagstaff
The City of Flagstaff is currently preparing to build a new water tank at the Railroad Springs tank site this summer. The tank will be an addition to the existing one, as a requirement for the Presidio in the Pines development on the west side of town. Appeals Court Rules in Favor of Snowbowl
The latest lawsuit aimed at stalling development plans at Arizona Snowbow has been shot down by a federal appeals court. A ruling today says the group Save the Peaks Coalition and private citizens who filed the lawsuite grossly abused the judicial process. Today’s ruling upholds a previous decision by a lower court which said the U.S. Forest Service adequately evaluated the effects of snowmaking using treated wastewater.
